WHERE THE GOOD GUYS AT? - What to Expect from the Blog in 2023

Happy 2023 everybody!

Ouch - 2022 really wasn't as good a year for the blog as I had hoped, now was it? Without going into personal details, I've just had way, way too much on my plate, and the blog has suffered a result... While I'm afraid some of the readers may have interpreted my greatly reduced volume of posting as loss of enthusiasm, nothing could be further from truth! The blog has still been very much on my mind, and I'm hoping that in 2023 I can truly come back swinging - then again, I'm now wise (or bloodied!) enough to know not to make any promises, but the will is there!

Unpublished, but not Forgotten - Clearing the Backlog

What's been weighting on me the most, has been the fact that I still haven't been able to summon the time and the effort to complete PandaBeastMode's excellent IGL recap, but I'll finnish that next or die trying!

After that there are still some RTF pieces that need updating (most notably the "If I were to Start RTF Now" -article) and some that are still uncompleted at the moment (like the Unit Focus piece on Fiddler). I'll continue to strive to keep my articles up to date in the future as well as I can!

Follow My Lead - Mentoring a New RTF Commander

For the past half a year or so, I've been doing my small part in mentoring a very promising new Ramah Taskforce Commander in our domestic meta. This Guy is the real deal, and I'm looking forward to providing him with a chance to voice his thoughts on the Sectorial (and on Infinity in general) in the future!

In the Navy! - Qapu Khalqi Articles Incoming?

My pride as a Haqqislamite Commander was somewhat wounded when some of my friends joked about how bad a Sectorial Qapu Khalqi is, and like any proper defender of virtue would, I volunteered to (finally) give them a proper go in N4! About a dozen games in I'm finding QK to be an interesting, unique and surprisingly dangerous Faction to wield, and we're not too far removed from me starting to write stuff like Unit Focus articles on them... How about that?

Your Wish, My Command - Article Requests

I have received some Article Requests from readers, and I'm more than willing to entertain more! I have my sights set on a comprehensive piece on the ITS14 Tachimoto Rafiqs at the moment, You can message me if there's something You'd like me to take a look at!

The Big Reveal - It's a Finnish Infinity Channel!

For a while now, our domestic meta has been working on setting up an Infinity Channel of our own, and our very first Battle Report has been ready for some time! Unfortunately there have been some unexpected bottlenecks that have delayed the release of the Channel, but I remain optimistic that we'll have something to show You in the nearish future!

And With That...

Thanks to everyone who still takes the time to read my thoughts on the blog, and a very special thank you for everyone who've ever given me words of encouragement or tips with which to became better at what I do. While I can make no quarantees, I'm committed to working for the further improvement of the blog and (in my small part) the amazing Infinity community! Here's for a better year 2023!

Until the next time - I wish you the very best in leading the Swift and Deadly Spear of the Haqqislamite Army to Victory!

THE COURT OF THE SCORPION QUEEN - Maghariba Guards & Shakushs in RTF In the Unit Focus series I take a look at the different units that make up the Ramah Taskforce, and try to answer why, not if, you should include them in your lists.   (Disclaimer! As of writing of this article, there is no Corvus Belli released model for the Shakush Light Armored Unit, and thus I've painted a Gecko Squadron model to serve as a replacement, as I feel it incampsulates the essence of this Light TAG quite well.) While it is highly unorthodox to field a TAG - especially the largest TAG in the game - in a rapid reaction force that's mostly made up of light units, there are times when even Ramah Taskforce players get to go big (rather than go home)! While you propably came here for the supersoldiers and other elite operatives , sometimes the situation (or one's mood) requires busting out the biggest guns and the heaviest armor; so let's talk about the two Tactical Armored Gear units

In Service of Others - Warcors and Rahman Rouhani in RTF

IN SERVICE OF OTHERS - Warcors and Rahman Rouhani in RTF In the Unit Focus series I take a look at the different units that make up the Ramah Taskforce, and try to answer why, not if, you should include them in your lists.   (Disclaimer! I unfortunately don't own the Defiance set from Corvus Belli, so I lack the actual model for Rahman Rouhani. I use my SMG Hakim as a proxy, because he to me seems the closest fit considering Rouhani's weapons, stats and abilities.)   Ramah Taskforce is the very tip of the spear when it comes to the armed forces of Haqqislam. They have the best equipment, all the logistic support they can hope for, and most importantly, the most elite soldiers of the nation at their disposal. When it comes to building an ITS list with RTF however, there are times when units chosen are defined not by what they are, but rather what they're not. Let's look at two support elements of the sectorial; Warcors, the War Correspondents and the Medical Speciali
